How do you apply magnetic snaps?
Magnetic Snaps add a professional finish to purses and totes.
To use:
- Position prongs on the back of the snap on the right
side of the fabric where they will be placed; push prongs into fabric
to mark position.
- Use very sharp scissors to cut a slit long enough for
prongs to slide through.
- To prevent metal support piece of the magnetic from cutting
fabric, place a piece of lightweight cardboard over the metal prongs
on the wrong side of the fabric.
- Slide the metal support piece over the cardboard; use
pliers to bend the prongs flat over the metal support piece.

Marking the snaps position on the fabric.

Place plastic canvas over prongs.

Fold back prongs to secure.
